Bill Gates + Ashley Flores

I received two very old emails today. Well, the emails were new but the subjects were old. One about Bill Gates sharing his fortune, and the other was trying to find a missing girl. Yes, you guessed it - both hoaxes. The Gates email I think is circa 1999 and the Flores one was a prank from May '06.

I always get these emails from good friends of mine, and I am always listed along with 10-50 other people. And it really sucks being a security person because I have to craft an email that doesn't embarrass my buddies and yet stops the madness. Of course, I guess I don't really have to stop the madness. I think in a lot of cases, these folks simply don't care that much. I am compelled to make a stand in support of proper "law and order" on the 'Net, anyway. And be seen as just a little more of a jerk by my friends who could care less about this kind of stuff.

I received the story about Ashley Flores today and felt very sad for her and her family.
However, I decided to check it out further.
Now all I feel is anger and discuss. What sickos!

yea, me too. i got it one day and at first i believed it but you never know what things are true right? so i looked her name up on the internet and got all this crap on how it is some big hoax. right, what marie said, sick is all you can say.

hey i gt the message bwt the lil girl 2day and found this site afta goooglein her name i dnt no why i did it jst seemd odd so i reaserched it seems this is a hoax i feel dead guilty now afta sending it to all 79 contacts of mine wot a dope

Same here..for the first time i decided to check it further..of course its a hoax...from now i will always check any forwards before i send it to more people.
